Upon completion of the course, divers will be able to conduct dives within BSAC Safe Diving guidelines, dive with suitable surface support, and dive with a buddy within the limits of their training and experience. Divers will also be able to expand their experience under the supervision of an appropriately qualified diver, plan and conduct dives including mandatory decompression stops, and use appropriate gases within their certification. In addition, divers will be trained to rescue another similarly equipped sidemount diver from depth to the surface.
The Sidemount Diver course has 4 theory modules, with a Twin-set supplimentary module and examinations that can be completed online.
